Each province in Canada has a public health plan in place, and is additionally supported by federal health programs. Depending on the province and program, this helps cover certain medication costs. If you have a private drug plan, you may have additional coverage for certain prescriptions. Ideally, your public and private insurance would cover the cost of all your medications, but this is not always the case.

Shared Solutions is here to help. We provide reimbursement services to all our program members that are Teva Canada Innovation product users. Our goal is to help you understand your coverage and reimbursement options.

We coordinate with your insurance company and can connect with your healthcare team, if required. Best of all, we are happy to do all the paperwork for you!

Some insurers limit full-cost coverage for drugs to patients who meet certain criteria and that, in some instances, documentation from the prescriber is required. There is a possibility that the patient may need to contribute out-of-pocket where those conditions are not met.
