Taking the first step
Receiving a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS) or of possible MS (clinically isolated syndrome or CIS) is not easy. You may feel overwhelmed and uncertain about the future. At this time and in the months and years ahead, it is important for you to know that you are not alone.
A network of support resources is available to help you manage life with MS. Whether you are looking for help with treatment, information about MS, or emotional support, services like Shared Solutions® and organizations like the MS Society, as well as your family and friends all have a role to play.
This Living Today booklet aims to introduce you to a network of resources that can help you understand MS and how you can begin to actively manage it. As a member of Shared Solutions, you will receive occasional information booklets like this one, plus Living Today newsletters in spring and fall to help you stay up to date about MS and Copaxone treatment.
